ERP system supports company growth

The company's portfolio contains over 10,000 customizable products. From workbenches to work tables and desks, to workplace systems, system superstructures, drawer cabinets, computer workstations, and table and tool trolleys, the company relies on quality "Made in Germany". As the old company software could no longer keep pace with RAU's growth, the company decided to invest in a new ERP system. Because of its flexibility and broad coverage, RAU opted for Abas. IT systems specialist MAIT introduced the new software at RAU, and this is now being used in almost all areas of the company. Everything went off smoothly went the solution went live on January 1, 2017. RAU uses the CTI & Communication extension. Operating data and time and attendance tracking are also controlled via the system. The plug-in is abas DMS. The Logcontrol warehouse management system WHM, the automatic Power+Free overhead conveyor system and packaging line, and a customs and shipping solution are also integrated into abas, as are a BI solution, an evaluation tool, and an interface to the PIM (product information management).

New company software increases stability and performance

By introducing Abas ERP, the company has been able to shift to paperless manufacturing—with the exception of order sheets and delivery notes. The new software has increased the stability of the company's processes and RAU's manufacturing performance, in addition to which important operating data are now available in real time.
