What began as a small workshop has developed into an internationally active medium-sized company, now in its second generation. The company's machinery is constantly being expanded in order to use new technologies for greater precision and to meet increasing quality requirements. In 2007, Walter Pottiez GmbH decided to implement Abas ERP in order to be prepared for the future. In addition to the installation of the Abas ERP business software, MAIT expanded the IT infrastructure of Walter Pottiez GmbH to include EDI, ZMS/PDC and BI. CAD/CAM and PLM from Siemens as well as CAQ/QSYS are used for this purpose.

Abas ERP links technology and IT

With the implementation of Abas ERP, business processes have become more efficient, duplicate work has been avoided and a consistent data flow from order entry to shipping of the finished products has been implemented. In addition, simplifications such as paperless vacation planning, automatic invoice dispatch and e-mail archiving were implemented.
